The fundamental difference of the words Simulacra and Simulation:
A simulacrum is a copy without an original. A social media profile would be a good example--it pretends to represent reality, but there is no reality at all behind it. It's just bits and pieces of computer code. A simulacrum is akin to a rabbit you see in a cloud, it’s when you see an object in nature; like a tree that looks like a person.
