Suicidal tendencies are akin to the rise of capitalism, cities and industrialized countries. It is not a personal problem, it’s a social problem that stems from the intense levels of worthlessness, alienation, experienced in “developed” societies. I could never blame the person feeling suicidal or call them selfish, cowardice, or any other form of stigmatization.

Siddharta Gautama said, the main principle of life is to cease suffering by ceasing attachment and grasping at self and objects. Those who commit suicide have a great need of this without the proper practice or teaching to help them.
